Gifts for Couples
Delight your favourite couples with a gift that was made to be shared, with one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic pieces for their home that you can be sure they’ll treasure forever.
In this popular set, our Hilda candle holder comes with a bundle of four St Eval Embers candles and a box of pretty matches in its own box.
A wonderful gift for the candle lover (let’s face it, who doesn’t love a candle?), the Embers taper candle is delicately scented with a calming blend of cedarwood and musk with a hint of spicy cinnamon.
Evocative of a soul soothing log fire in winter, this warming scent has become a firm favourite in my own home - I can’t get enough of it!

These limited edition, one-of-a-kind porcelain bowls make a wonderful, understated centrepiece on a dining or coffee table. Each one is unique. Images will be uploaded as and when new versions become available - that will vary slightly in glaze colour. Turned with a small foot to make them light and versatile, they can be used to serve up salads and side dishes on your dining table
Hand-thrown, these bowls are twice-fired in a process that involves dipping them in oatmeal glaze, firing, then brushing with white glaze and etching the design into the body of the vessel. Once a blue-grey glaze has been added to the centre and rim, the bowl is fired again to achieve this beautiful layered effect.

Part of an exciting new range of beautiful, functional tableware, our Oxnam plates are all hand thrown on the potter’s wheel. Named after the Scottish hamlet that was the location for the Fishley Holland Pottery in the 1970s and ‘80s, this subtly-hued, tactile plece has been turned to make it light and functional.
The Oxnam dinner plate goes through through five different processes after it’s been thrown and turned. Before being fired, it’s dipped in oatmeal glaze. Once fired, it’s then brushed with white glaze. When the glaze is dry, the linear pattern is incised on the interior before it’s fired for a final time. Unglazed on the base, each one is unique and features our Fishley Holland maker’s mark.
Mix with our Harvest ceramic plates and bowls, or pair it with the rest of our Oxnam range, which includes a matching breakfast bowl and a side plate.

A slightly larger, stoneware version of our Shoji cane handled teapot. Perfect for three or four good sized cups of tea. Why not curl up with a book and your favourite blend and make an afternoon of it?
Hand thrown in stoneware clay and decorated with our own delicately speckled oatmeal glaze, the bamboo handle adds to its contemporary look. It’s the perfect pourer, too - no drips here!
Hand washing recommended for this product (due to the handle potentially not withstanding very high water temperatures over time)
Height 16 cm (26 with handle)

These tactile, smooth glazed mugs are fast becoming a favourite of mine, and everyone who has laid eyes on them since they came out of the kiln earlier this month.
Hand thrown in the signature straight form of our Clevedon mug, the Miro is similarly dipped but with its primary colour glaze continuing inside. The square shaped handle is hand formed to create this mug’s striking, sculptural look.
Slightly turned at the base, each Miro mug is stamped with our unique Fishley Holland Pottery insignia.
A beautiful addition to your kitchen shelves and morning breakfast table, the Miro has an understated elegance and feels lovely in the hand. Each varies slightly in glaze tone.

The perfect table centrepiece, or for using to serve salads and side dishes, this beautiful stoneware bowl goes through a number or processes in its creation.
Once leather-dry it it turned and glazed in our signature speckled oatmeal glaze before being fired. A darker oatmeal glaze is then applied and, once dry, the liner pattern is incised into that glaze. A blue glaze is then used on the rim and to accent the centre after which it is fired a second time.
The effect is beautifully nuanced, creating blurred, soft grey-blue hues.
The result is a unique, tactile piece of stoneware showing the refined craftsmanship of a seventh generation potter - a piece to be treasured that can be used every day.

These statement jugs will make a handsome pairing on your kitchen shelf and look just as striking when displayed alone. And, in keeping with our design ethos, they’re functional too. Designed to be used on your kitchen table, they also look great holding dried stems.
An elegant pair, they’ll serve you well - and make a wonderful conversation piece on your table during gatherings, with their fine brushwork design. Each is slightly different but designed to speak to each other.
Please note that designs will vary slightly as each piece is unique. Hand thrown in white porcelain and stamped with the Fishley Holland Pottery insignia.
