This limited-edition porcelain bowl is a one-off - a striking piece designed to sit at the centre of your table. No two are ever quite the same. New bowls are added as they come out of the kiln, each with their own subtle shifts in glaze, tone and pattern.
Thrown by hand and finished with a turned foot, the bowl has a lightness that makes it as practical as it is beautiful. It’s the perfect size for generous salads, sharing dishes, or simply as a decorative piece on a coffee table.
The surface design is created through a layered glazing process: dipped first a turquoise lustre base, fired, then brushed with blue glaze before the pattern is carved back into the clay. The bowl is fired once more to create its luminous finish.

These tiny, delicate bowls were originally designed to hold salt and pepper on the dinner table but they’ve proved to be fantastically versatile. We have some seeds in one of ours, but they can hold pins, paperclips and matches, and they are also big enough to house a regular size tea light.

Hand thrown in smooth white porcelain and finished with softly scalloped rim, this verssatile bowl is one of those pieces you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again. There’s something deeply comforting about the way it sits in the hand - light, perfectly smooth, and quietly elegant.
The chalky matt white glaze brings a subtle warmth to the porcelain, and it feels just as at home filled with breakfast porridge as it is serving something simple and restorative at suppertime. I’ve been testing these in my own kitchen for the past few months, and they’ve become one of those “use every day” favourites.
A beautiful standalone piece for serving something special on your table for a gathering, and a natural addition to your Paper Thin Moon tableware collection.

A quietly striking centrepiece for your table, this one-of-a-kind porcelain bowl is as practical as it is beautiful - equally suited to serving salads and side dishes or simply adding a refined touch to your home.
Each bowl moves through several stages. Once the form reaches its leather-dry stage, it’s turned and dipped in our softly speckled oatmeal glaze, then fired. A deeper oatmeal tone is brushed over the surface, and once dry, the linear pattern is carved back through to reveal the clay beneath. A wash of blue glaze is then added to the rim and centre before the final firing brings everything together.
The result is a subtle interplay of colour - soft, blurred grey-blues highlighting the centre and rim - creating a piece full of character.
This is a unique, tactile piece of porcelain, shaped by the hand of a seventh-generation potter, made to be lived with and cherished.

I use these super versatile hand thrown bowls on a daily basis, and have done since they first came back from the workshop a year or so ago. The first thing I want to do when I see a a great new bowl or plate design come out of the kiln is pick it up and see how it feels - and these smooth, porcelain pieces feel so comforting and reassuring in the hand.
Their subtly speckled glaze give them a beautiful warmth, making them perfect for your breakfast granola and a warming bowl of soup for lunch, but they also make an elegant addition to the dinner table come evening.
Mix with some of our Oxnam twice-fired ceramic plates and bowls or pair it with the rest of our Harvest range, which includes matching dinner and side plates.

A beautifully characterful piece, this one-of-a-kind porcelain bowl will bring a touch of drama to the table. With its hand-brushed accents of deep blue and dark umber, the centre takes on an almost eye-like quality - a focal point that draws you in each time you look at it.
Thrown in porcelain and turned with a foot, the bowl is first dipped in our warm, speckled oatmeal glaze before firing. Once cooled, layers of blue and rich brown glaze are painted by hand across the rim and centre, creating soft, tonal movement and depth. A second firing produces a striking yet understated surface full of character.
Perfect as a standalone display piece or as a serving bowl for salads, sides or fruit, it’s the kind of vessel that becomes part of the landscape of a home - quietly unique, made to be treasured.

The perfect table centrepiece, or for using to serve salads and side dishes, this beautiful stoneware bowl goes through a number or processes in its creation.
Once leather-dry it it turned and glazed in our signature speckled oatmeal glaze before being fired. A darker oatmeal glaze is then applied and, once dry, the liner pattern is incised into that glaze. A blue glaze is then used on the rim and to accent the centre after which it is fired a second time.
The effect is beautifully nuanced, creating blurred, soft grey-blue hues.
The result is a unique, tactile piece of stoneware showing the refined craftsmanship of a seventh generation potter - a piece to be treasured that can be used every day.

Available in oatmeal or coral glazed porcelain.
