Presented in a deep set oak frame, this work is on a smaller scale than those I’ve made previously, but features similar botanicals that are grown in our East Sussex garden, or picked from abundantly growing clusters in the wild in the surrounding countryside. Some of those included here are: lily of the valley, sweet cecily and clematis leaves, buttercups and astrantia.
Brighten your shelf or mantelpiece with this one-of-a-kind work that’s easy to move around when you’re looking to refresh a room or space. It can also be hung on your wall. Each one of these works is totally unique - I only make a handful of each size from flowers carefully chosen from the previous summer’s pressings.
Your picture will come gift-ready, wrapped in tissue paper with a handwritten note, despatched in plastic-free packaging
We recommend that you place this work away from direct sunlight to preserve the colours of the flowers, which may fade over time.
Framed work measures approx 21 x 30cm
Paper Thin Moon is run by father and daughter duo, Peter and Claire. Our family have been making ceramics since 1800. And we’re continuing that tradition today, creating handcrafted homeware for lovers of eclectic interiors.
These limited edition, one-of-a-kind porcelain bowls make a wonderful, understated centrepiece on a dining or coffee table. Each one is unique. Images will be uploaded as and when new versions become available - that will vary slightly in glaze colour. Turned with a small foot to make them light and versatile, they can be used to serve up salads and side dishes on your dining table
Hand-thrown, these bowls are twice-fired in a process that involves dipping them in oatmeal glaze, firing, then brushing with white glaze and etching the design into the body of the vessel. Once a blue-grey glaze has been added to the centre and rim, the bowl is fired again to achieve this beautiful layered effect.

Part of an exciting new range of beautiful, functional tableware, the Oxnam side plate is hand thrown on the potter’s wheel. Named after the rural Scottish hamlet that was the location for the Fishley Holland Pottery in the 1970s and ‘80s, this wonderfully tactile plece has been turned to make it light and functional.
The Oxnam plate goes through through five different processes after it’s been thrown and turned. Before being fired, it’s dipped in oatmeal glaze. Once fired, it’s then brushed with white glaze. When the glaze is dry, the linear pattern is incised on the interior before it’s fired for a final time.
Unglazed on the base, each one features our unique Fishley Holland maker’s mark.
Mix with our Harvest ceramic plates and bowls, or pair it with the rest of our Oxnam range, which includes a matching breakfast bowl and a dinner plate.

Fill your home with the calming aroma of soothing sandalwood or restful rose with these gorgeous incense cones from Earl of East London. These neat little cones burn for around fifteen minutes but will carry on scenting your home for the rest of the day.
Place one into our Devon bowl, light the tip and wait for 15-20 seconds before blowing out the flame and allowing it to smoke gently. This self care set also comes with a mini white sage smudge stick. Native Americans have traditionally used herbs like sage to clear away negative energies and attract positive ones. Smudging with white sage is also said to release negative ions that fight dust and pollution.
To use, light your sage stick over the Devon bowl, then blow on it until the flame goes out. The sage will then lightly smoke, much like incense. Holding it over the bowl, walk around your home gently wafting the smoke of your sage stick into every corner of your space.
This set includes:
Our Devon Bowl in oatmeal
Earl of East London incense cones in Sandalwood or Rose
One small white sage smudge stick

I use these super versatile hand thrown bowls on a daily basis, and have done since they first came back from the workshop a year or so ago. The first thing I want to do when I see a a great new bowl or plate design come out of the kiln is pick it up and see how it feels - and these smooth, porcelain pieces feel so comforting and reassuring in the hand.
Their subtly speckled glaze give them a beautiful warmth, making them perfect for your breakfast granola and a warming bowl of soup for lunch, but they also make an elegant addition to the dinner table come evening.
Mix with some of our Oxnam twice-fired ceramic plates and bowls or pair it with the rest of our Harvest range, which includes matching dinner and side plates.

We’ve added a larger version of our best selling Clevedon jug to our collection (it now come in small and as a set, too). Its size and simple, clean lines make it as versatile as it is beautiful; we like to fill ours with grasses or summer blooms, but it works equally well for gravy at dinner time or milk on the breakfast table.

Our Birdie jug has been updated recently, and is based on a Fishley Holland design produced in the 1980s that was informed by some of Picasso’s bright, painterly ceramics.
The new incarnation is a little more sculptural, has a lovely organic shape and is decorated with a pared back black and white palette. It looks handsome on its own but once flowers or dried grasses are added, they give the effect of giving the “bird” some added plumage!
