for slower autumn days
With autumn comes a slower rhythm - evenings drawn in, candles lit, and the quiet pleasure of being home. This edit gathers our favourite pieces for the season of golden light and lengthening shadows: hand-thrown ceramics rich in texture, softly flickering candles in autumnal hues, calming incense, and dried and delicately pressed flowers that echo the beauty of the fading garden.
Taking inspiration from spring’s sunshine yellow palette, the dried blooms and grasses in this everlasting bouquet are a combination of natural, straw and buff hues. Craspedia provides pops of uplifting colour, while bunny tails, oats and dried poppy heads add texture and structure.
Presented in this gorgeous set with our large Fremington cylinder vase, dipped in our signature chalky white glaze with a subtly pearlescent coral interior that also delicately lines the rim.
Vase height: approx 11 cm
Part of a new small collection of dried flower and vase gift sets, our hand thrown Fremington vase in oatmeal is paired with a bouquet of natural and pink hues.
Presented in its own gift box, the set comes ready to display. The everlasting bouquet combines oats, bunny tails, pink rodanthe daisies, wheat and dried poppy seedheads. The porcelain vase is the perfect size for fresh blooms such as astrantia, geums, Japanese anemone and small bunches of wildflowers.

These natural plant-based incense sticks are made with pure, balmy sandalwood as a base, further blended with precious lavender flowers - picked at dawn before the plant fully blooms.
Ume’s Japanese style incense sticks are inspired by the ancient art of incense making and blended with refined plant material to give an elegant cloud and profound scent.
These natural incense blends are mood-enhancing as they are made using stress-relieving plants.

50 sticks in every pack
Each stick burns for approx. 30 minutes
With their blend of warm musk and woody scents, these slender candles make the perfect little pick me up gift. Each bundle has been hand-wrapped and each little candle can burn for up to 3 hours.
Light one before guests arrive and greet them with its gorgeous, soothing scent. These slim taper candles pair perfectly with our handmade ceramic Maude and Hilda candle holders, and made a wonderful little stocking filler.
Perfect for when you’re looking to add some calm to your daily ritual, our Monastery incense bowl set is centred around a wheel thrown footed bowl, crafted in pure porcelain and twice fired to achieve its beautifully tactile fractal glaze.
It comes with a solid brass dome that can hold three sticks in varying sizes, and can be used alone, plus a box of carefully selected Ume natural incense sticks.
Monastery’s warm, spicy scent will enrich your space. Citrus top notes blended with the deep base notes of sandalwood helps relaxation before dinner and also to sweeten the air after eating. It’s also excellent for meditation as it focuses the mind, removing stagnation.

Don’t you just love coming home to a room filled with the faintly lingering scent of natural incense? Burning incense as part of your daily ritual is made all the more joyful with our gorgeous new handmade ceramic incense holder.
Thrown in white porcelain, the Flora has a delicate scalloped edge and is glazed in smooth coral. Three different sizes of holes in the dome means it’s perfect for any width of incense stick.
It’s an elegant little object, and fits like a tiny floral dream on mantelpieces, storage cupboards, shelves. I keep mine on display, nestled amongst vintage brass candlesticks, picture frames and bowls of flowers.
Burning incense is know to aid meditation and relaxation, and even improve focus. I like to light some in the morning and have it burning on my desk as I’m working.

Our bestselling Clevedon jug is also available in this black porcelain handless set, that makes a beautiful and unique gift for cooks. Understatedly elegant, these modern little jugs are wonderfully versatile. I keep a pair on my kitchen shelves and use them endlessly.
We like to use one of them on a tray with our morning coffee by the fire, and they often make an appearance on our dining table when we’re serving tea for friends, bringing a little touch of elegance to proceedings. The pleasing contrast between the matt black glaze and the smooth, slightly gloss interior white is a thing of quiet beauty.

Inspired by my own discovery of the power of lighting incense to help set intentions throughout the day, this wellness set is designed to encourage moments of calm, reflection and reset.
Included in the gift box are the tools you need to create a serene space in your home when looking to achieve a meditative atmosphere: a box of Earl of East London sandalwood incense cones, a hand thrown ceramic bowl with a gently fluted edge and a pretty box of matches. I’ve also included a mini posy of dried flowers (because who doesn’t like to receive flowers?).
The ritual of lighting incense can help to create a serene space in your home, separate from the outside world. Use grounding sandalwood to set an intention for the day - or to wind down in the evening.
The gently speckled oatmeal bowl can also be used for jewellery, keys and trinkets.
The perfect gift for a friend or family member who needs a reminder to slow down and take a breath, and a wonderful house warming gift. This neat little set is available for gift wrap with a handwritten note at checkout.

This small, original pressed flower artwork features a solitary fox’s grape fritillary mounted on textured handmade black paper.
Grown and pressed in my East Sussex garden, this flower was chosen for its burnished bronze foliage that beautifully reflects the light. Dozens of the flowers I press are selected for larger works, but only a special few are picked as standalone pieces for their uniqueness.
Housed in a light oak Moebe floating frame, it sits vibrantly as a standalone work and will add impact and interest hanging alongside other artworks in a gallery wall. Its diminutive size makes it easy to swap around when freshening up your space.
A piece for lovers of slow design, timeless interiors and beautiful botanical forms.
